You don't know me, but I'm the Head of the Department of Magical Education at the Ministry of Magic. My name is Samantha Rose and I'm writing you on behalf of someone who cares about you deeply, your uncle Jake. Jake wants more than anything to meet with you and get to know you, he has been separated from doing so only by cruel actions of fate. You see, Rachel, Jake never had a chance to explain to his family why he could do things that they couldn't and, tragically, they never understood what it was that made him so special. This is something which causes him so much pain, and he is hurt so much more because he has never had a chance to really get to know you.

You and your uncle have so much in common, Rachel. It is my sincerest wish that the two of you finally meet, and I am willing to do everything in my power to help the two of you.
