She stole another glance over at Cale and grinned quietly to herself. Helena spotted Freya and gave her a cheery wave. She grinned at the words she directed at her and nodded. 'No problem,' she mouthed back. Her smile widening, she looked back down at her wand. Helena picked up her wand a little hesitantly and repeated the exact motion the teacher had just shown them, saying, Lumos. A light appeared at the end of her wand, and it took Helena all of her concentration to stop from cheering at her good pronunciation. Alex walked up behind the girl, leaned over her shoulder and whispered, "We're not doing the Lumos spell dear. Next time you should pay attention instead of consentraiting on other students." Quote:

Most of the time, Willow was fairly good at Transfiguration. Never had any sort of problem with the spells that were taught. However, for some reason, this one sounded quite complex. Probably because Professor Pierce had said something about crackling. Huh.
"Professor Pierce," Began Willow politely, with her hand in the air, "Is there any way that I can burn my hand while practicing this spell, ma'am? Perhaps I'm being silly for thinking such a thing, but the whole crackling issue reminded me of fire." She smiled, "No dear, its only light and even though it sounds like fire, it wont burn you." |
