Receiving a smile in return, Helena's mood improved from good to great. She set her eagle feather quill neatly beside her parchment before fishing around in the inside pocket of her robes for her wand. Finally finding it, she smiled again and set it next to her quill. She stole another glance over at Cale and grinned quietly to herself. Quote:

Alex stated matter o factly. "Also, the light from this spell will cast light all around, as apposed to the Lumos spell, which casts only a beam of light."
"The wand motion for this spell is swish, flick and point. Swish and flick just like the Wingardieum Leviosa charm but ended with a point at your empty hand. Like this." she instructed as she demonstrated one last time. Swish, Flick and Point. "Again, you should hear a soft crackling sound when the light in conjured correctly." Helena picked up her wand a little hesitantly and repeated the exact motion the teacher had just shown them, saying, Lumos. A light appeared at the end of her wand, and it took Helena all of her concentration to stop from cheering at her good pronunciation. |
