He was trying to find some excuse of why he might have look a little bit more sick than usual. The first thing that pops in his head was food. Yep that was a good one. If she would ask, he could say that he had ate something bad and the fact that he was dangling in the air could have trigger this. Fortunately for him, it seems that it wasn’t all over his face or at least she didn’t mentioned it so no matter what it was, he was relieved that she didn’t brought this up. He was still in this I am not afraid of height pretence. "Don’t tell me I’m funnier than a bag of candies… that I will have trouble believing it… " For a first time he was teasing her lightly. This was helping so he wouldn’t focus on anything that was going on at the moment.
As he touches the ground by Lexi’s help, he felt that something was not normal with her hug. Maybe it was just him, maybe he was imagining things but it wasn’t what it used to be. He had to make a mental effort to remind himself that she was a friend. A very good friend yes but a friend nonetheless.
As he was reminding himself that, he blinked when she asked him if he was avoiding her. "I thought you did. I was in the common room last time you were there and you seems to be very busy. TK was the one who came to see me… I guess we both didn’t got a chance to see each other much…"
