Krissy sighed deeply. She wasn't very fond of being such a well known figure in her small village.
Kayla chuckled quietly as she took a sip of her drink. "Jumpy little thing aren't you" she leaned forward so that only Krissy could hear her. "I promise I'm not going to tell anyone" she moved back and gave her cousin a small wink.
She opened her mouth to speak and then closed it again. How does one go about telling someone else that she had spent most of her summer and the first couple of months of the school term in jail? "I wish I could have been there" Kayla replied wistfully. "Sounds like it was kind of fun and I missed out on meeting my grandfather"
