Meredith knew this one, so she raised her hand. "They wear different colours of belt. You start with a white belt, and after a certain period you take a kind of test. If you pass, you get a different colour belt, which indicates that you are at a higher level. The colours are different depending on what training, the school and the sort of art that is beng thaught but white is the lowest and black the highest you can get" she said.
