great chapter as usual a little confusing but great all the same can't wait for more Ginny and fred have got to still alive haven't they ...... Oh no, I'm sorry. I agree this part of the story is very confusing. To break it down:
Hogwarts was attacked by Vampires so they locked themselves in the Chamber of Secrets. Dumbledore stayed behind to fend them off and got injured really badly. But Voldemort let Hugo Dracus, king of vampires into the chamber where he demanded that the new generation of the Coven be handed over and gave Krysta 24 hours to make the decision.
But the trio worked out that if the turned into pixies the vampires guarding them couldn't attack because pixie blood would poison them. Hermione managed to transfigure into a Lynx and slipped out of the chamber to fetch supplies for the potion and bring them back. Snape made the potion and gave it to everyone but there was barely enough to go around. Most of the school managed to escape to safety, but some changed back into human form too early and are now missing.
