She had extensive pirate language training with her brothers Chuck and Lucky and she could sure teach Daphne. "Aye, Cap'n" Jillian obeyed once more, saluting then heading over to the other side of the desk.
As she reached the other side, she took out her wand and giggled. "Nay, Cap'n. This here only be wands, no swords, I'm afraid. Disappointing really." she said, trying to sound like a disappointed pirate, which in truth she didn't know how to. Most pirates were either angry, happy, mischievous, hungry, or tired. A sad pirate almost didn't exist for pirates had bad tempers and sadness didn't really fit them.
"Alrighty, Cap'n. You go first. Best if ye try and not splash me with the waterrrr...arg! Dun' wanna feel like I be walkin' the plank and down to the sharrrks!" Jillian was having fun. Who knew Charms class and pirates could actually be connected to one another?
Jillian McGuffin was a living, breathing, walking, talking lollapalooza. The truth was evident from the way she easily slipped in and out of multiple personalities and her incapacity to analyze situations where she was better off keeping her speech limited. At least she wasn't talking in polysyllables. Not that Daphne would have trouble understanding her but the amount of words per minute Jillian threw out were daunting and dizzying.
"Aye," she trusted herself enough to say when she flicked her wrist and chanted the incantation, struggling briefly at first with raising the balloon safely from the desk and clear from her schoolbag. "Though, argh, truth be told, this here Cap'n ain't got a clue what to do now..."
What was the task again? Raise balloons...avoid getting wet? Do not give extra body parts to students?"
