What if he chose the wrong side? What if one of these girls was the good, and one was the bad? What if his choice, in this very moment, determined his entire future in the fight of Good vs. Evil?
Tino decided, at this moment, that he much preferred his imaginary animal friends.
Oh no! One of them was taking action! The honey-haired girl was using the lesson charm to float the balloons over the heads of molasses-haired girl and another boy, apparent enemies of her clan. "Wait!," Tino cried, "No! These weapons are to be used for the good of mankind! I'll never let you! Arrrrhhhhhhh--" and he flung himself in front of Willow and Dominic, snatching the waterballoons out of the air.
Tino turned, balloons in hand and trying frantically to think of what he could do with them so they couldn't be used against anyone, ever, ever, again. No one would die this day on his account!
And then he stuffed them quickly down his shirt front and folded his arms triumphantly. His new figure was slightly confusing.
"Galloping Gargoyles!" Punzel exclaimed, for clearly that was the only possible reaction to the Ravenclaw snatching her balloons out of the air.
"Who said they were weapons, eh?" she added, taking a step toward the kid and pointing her index finger at him.
"I was just practicing the charm! Honest!" The finger went closer to his chest, where the two balloons were making an oddball shape.
"C'mon now, don't you want to earn Ravenclaw some points?" Poke poke, pokity poke - the finger prodded the balloons he was hiding under his shirt. Not too hard of a poke, but if he tried to dodge away....surely the things would burst....

Then the next thing he knew, there were the boys two balloons hovering dangerously close to him and Mystery girl.
"I swear, if you soak me..." he glared at hyper girl, clenching his teeth. Griping his wand in his robes, he knew he shouldn't use it but was prepared to do so anyway. If she soaked him, then surely a drying spell would be in use and he could have sworn the older boy up front used tergio - tergeo - or something like that earlier.
But he didn't need to, because before he could do anything rash, the other boy snatched the balloons out of the air raving about them being used for the good of mankind.. meh? The boy was clearly more mentally insane than the two girls; as if that were possible. He questioned his sanity even more when the boy stuffed them down the front of his shirt.
"Er... I hate to break it you you, but if those combust, then your chest is gonna freeze!"
Uggh he will just not leave me ALONE! Rapunzel turned from poking the Ravenclaw to glace at Book Boy.
"For once...I might agree with you...." she said slowly, blinking at him for one second. Was it possible that they thought along the same lines...ever?!
But then it was back to poking the Ravenclaw.
"C'mon, it's just a levitation charm...." poke poke poke "...and I'd really hate to get in trouble for not following directions..." poke poke poke POP. "Oooops." Rapunzel took a step back and bit her lip to keep from giggling. She'd done gone and did it - one of the balloons under the boy's shirt had burst...and spilled ice cold water all the way down the inside of his shirt.
