Jumping in her seat, Daphne squawked, one hand flying to her chest where underneath her heart raced wildly. Her free hand clutched the wand tightly unable to just hex whoever it was into oblivion as she would have wanted to.
Upon hearing the girl's voice, Daphne's scowl softened. It was just Miss Jillian. Still, giving her a pair of donkey ears wouldn't hurt her.
"I don't suppose saying no is an option?" She replied surly before standing up and pointing at the table with the balloons. "Go fetch two balloons, please."
Quirking a brow to herself, Daphne reminded herself that she couldn't boss people around at Hogwarts. This wasn't Davis or Misery the house elf she was talking to. So she tried again. "I mean, could you go collect two balloons for us, please?"
Jillian snickered. Daphne looked like Susan every time Jillian had crept up to scare her older sister too. "You're so silly, Daph." Jillian teased, as if it was odd to be shocked by someone creeping up behind you.
Jillian grinned. Daphne was catching on. This was good. Jillian nodded. She diverted her attention towards the balloons Daphne was pointing to and then back to Daphne. Jillian smiled. Her friend sounded like some miss-boss-lady. But then Daphne had rephrased.
Jillian, thinking it would be more fun playing pirates, saluted and said "Aye, Cap'n Daphne! Arrrgg!!" she then marched off to fetch them two balloons from the table, whistling Yo Ho Yo Ho A Pirate's Life For Me--a tune she had heard a little boy sang while they resided in muggle England.
"Here be our booty, Cap'n Daph!" she announced, handing over the balloons.
