"What's the meaning of this really?"
"No idea." Celandine offered, through giggles and a mouthful of candy, "Debating club?" she offered, swallowing a mouthful and scrabbling in the bag for a few more.

It had been a while since he had had a fangirl. Come to think of it, since he came to Hogwarts, he had partially, if almost completely, escaped the madness. Yes, yes, normally he detested them and wished they would leave him alone and close down whatever fanclubs they've made for him, but it had been at least 4 years since he last had a fangirl encounter who worshiped his devastatingly good looks and the ground he walked on.
Not that he was asking for another one. No. That would not be very Samson-like. It was just that it was a weird feeling. Blah.
Then someone else entered. Oh, this guy he recognized. He and Gavin had messed with him last year, and it was truly fun. He wanted to bring that back. He walked over to the boy and slung an arm over his shoulder. "They diddit, mate. Sick 'em, c'mon! They're gettin' away! Don' lettem get 'way! They started the 'oooole thing, and I - I 'ad abs'lutely nuttin' t' do withem." He swayed slightly, and supported himself against the guy. This was the first time he had acted like a crazy, drunk hobo. It was actually fun. And it would be double the fun if the guy was creeped out. Heh.
"You should sell tickets or something." Celandine agreed, tossing another chilli candy in the air and catching it with a flick of her tongue. She looked at him with her eyes wide and serious, "Oh I'm always kind of on the edge of my seat." luckily the chilli candies were sugar free or she'd be turning the common room into a skating rink like she had at Belle's last term.
"Candy?" Cela offered, an innocent expression on her face as she held out the seemingly harmless bag of candy that she had so obviously been enjoying. Most people found them so hot they practically breathed fire and had steam shoot out their ears.
Her eyes widened as he put on another show, this time reminding her of her brothers when they came home after being out 'studying' all night.
"How many people you got in there?" she asked curiously, tipping her head.
