Chapter 45

Alicia tried to open her eyes but they were too heavy. She tried to speak but found she didn't have the strength. She tried to move her arm but it felt like lead.

'What happened?' She thought as she heard distant voices calling her. 'I can hear them... What the-?' A image flashed across her mind.

A face. A face they knew well. Voldemort. She felt a surge of anger shoot through her as another image appeared in her mind.

People were kneeling round her, but it wasn't her. They were silent as they watched and waited for their Lord to speak.

"Well, someone attacked Potter during school and he is now in a coma..." A man said as he knelt in front of her.

"Potter cannot be in a coma... He has to fight! I want this battle to happen soon. I cannot risk Potter and his friends being ready to fight" Voldemort said slowly as he stood up.

Then, everything was black again. Alicia could hear the voices again but still couldn't do anything.

She repeated the longer same sentence over and over again in her mind.

Chapter 46

MEANWHILE

Jamie sat in the spare seat next to the un- conscience Alicia and sleeping Harry.

After a couple of minutes, Harry jerked awake.

"Al- Alicia?" He said as he turned to look at his own face.

"Harry? Whats wrong?" Jamie asked as he looked towards Alicia's confused face.

"I thought I heard Alicia..." Harry said slowly.

"What did she say?" Jamie said quickly as he lent forwards.

Outside, Ginny sat with Hermione in a corner talking.

"Hermione?" Ginny asked quietly as she hugged her knees to her chest.

"Yes?" She said as she kept her eyes on the two boys talking next to the bed in the other room.

"Whats going to happen? I mean, If we can't get them back right?" She asked as she followed her friends gaze.

"I'm not sure. But I know that Alicia will find a way. She's smart like that..." Hermione said as she studied Jamie's face from a distance.

"That's not what I-" Ginny started but Hermione cut her off.

"Does it look like Jamie's smiling to you?"She asked as she stood up slowly.

Ginny looked slowly back over towards the two boys before answering.

"Um... Yes!" She said as Hermione jerked Ron awake.

"Ron! Wake up! Somethings happened! Come on!" She said as she poked him in the ribs.

"I'm up! Hermione! Whats-" Was all Ron could ask her before she rushed off towards the Hospital Room.

As Ginny walked past Luna, she stood up and joined her as she walked after Hermione.

"What do you think is going on?" Luna asked as they neared the door.

Ginny shook her head. "I know what I want it to be..." Luna looked up at her friend when she heard a sadness in her voice.

"Ginny! Oh! Guess what? Harry's back to normal again!" Hermione squealed as she stood at the foot of his bed.

Ginny rushed forwards and stopped by his side as Harry slowly opened his eyes.

"Harry?" She asked quietly as she sat on the edge of his bed and gripped his hand. His hand slowly tightened then loosened and tears welled in Ginny's eyes.

"Ali? You okay?" Jamie said as Alicia sat up and looked over at Harry.

"Did it work? Is everything okay?" She said quickly, ignoring Jamie's question.

Slowly, Harry nodded at her and she sighed.

"Good... I need to go over there for a minute..." Alicia said, exhaustion visible in her face and voice.

She stood to walk over to the door but after the fist couple of steps, her knees buckled and she fell to the floor.

"Alicia!" Jamie said as he threw himself out of his chair. Picking her up and helping her get ther balance he looked down at her.

"Alicia... You need to rest..." But Alicia shook her head and fixed her eyes on the floor beneath her.

"No... There's no time... Must read... Coming soon..." Was all Jamie got out of her as he lead her to the bed next to Harry.

"There's time Ali... Just lay down for a while" Jamie said as he let go of her arm.

"But- " Alicia said as she went to argue with him. She placed her head on the pillow and curled up into a ball.

"No. Rest" Jamie said with a finality in his voice. Alicia looked up at him before slowly falling asleep.

"She... Saw... Something... Didn't She?" Harry's voice was cracked and strained as he forced himself up to look over at Jamie.

"Yes. But she needs to rest for a bit... She over does it sometimes and this always happens... Wait till she wakes, then ask her" Jamie said as he sat down in the chair between the two beds. His face split into a smile again. "It's glad to have you back to normal... Goodness knows that you nearly gave us a heart attack! Especially Ginny! And you do not want to know how weird it is to talk to you while looking at Ali!" Jamie laughed as Ginny giggled at Harry, who tried to apologise.

"Jamie's over exaggerating Harry... We were scared though!" Ginny said, waving away his sorry.

"Anyway... Lets not talk about it, not yet anyway..." Hermione said as she walked up them. "Do you think Alicia will be alright soon? I need to ask her something..."

"Are you going to elaborate on that or make us wait?" Ginny said as she turned her head to see everyone else in the room.

"It's about what she said as you helped her to the bed... Coming Soon, No time... I think it's about the battle..." She said as she tugged at a curl hanging down by her cheek.

"It was..." Every head turned towards the speaker. Ginny fell off the bed where she was sitting and Jamie scuttled away and nearly fell over Ron's foot as he stood up from his chair.

Chapter 47

"One of my friends placed Potter in a coma without telling me... And your little friend here seems to of lifted the curse. Funny, really. As she was lifting it, she caught a glimpse into my mind... I could feel her power... And she overheard a conversation that she shouldn't have heard. She will tell you but she doesn't know the whole thing... I was hoping to catch her awake... I would like to hear her theories on it. Shame really... It's a shame that you have to be the ones going into battle... your all so young. It seems like theres nothing left for me when this is over..." Voldemort's voice echoed round the room. Ron, Hermione, Luna and Ginny just stood there looking at Harry while Jamie glanced at Alicia before turning back to Harry.

"You've came, you've seen that she's asleep, now go" He said as he stepped forwards, causing Voldemort to laugh. Alicia moved in her sleep and Luna moved towards her.

"Alicia... Come on, Alicia..." She whispered as Jamie started talking again.

"Leave. You have no right here. Go" He said slowly, hoping that Alicia would wake up soon in case anything happened.

"Aww. Scared that something will happen Jamie? Need your girlfriend to protect you? Well she can't. She learnt to control her powers didn't she... Oh yes. I know everything now..." Before Jamie could move, Harry's hand gripped his wrist and pulled.

"Jamie!" Ginny shouted, causing Alicia to fidget again. With both hands pinned to his sides and his own wand pointing at his throat, Jamie just looked round at Ginny.

"Well, something happened didn't it... And look, she's still not awake... Maybe theres a certain thing that causes it... Lets see..." The wand flicked up and a deep mark appeared on Jamie's face.

"Stop!" Ginny shouted as she went to draw her wand.

"Ah! I wouldn't... Or-" Voldemort's voice was full of laughter. Again the wand flicked and another gash formed, this time on Jamie's chest. Blood now soaking his top and cheek. Ginny left her wand in her pocket.

"Stop it!" Hermione yelled as more cuts appeared on Jamie's arms and legs. Jamie crumpled and his face contorted with pain as Voldemort pulled his head up by his hair.

Luna shook Alicia's shoulders and continued to whisper to her.

"Alicia... Please wake up! We need you! Jamie needs you" All that happened was Alicia turning over in her sleep.

"Leave her alone!" Voldemort said and pointed the wand at Luna, who was thrown backwards. At this point, Ron pulled his wand out and pointed it at Harry.

"Sorry mate..." He whispered before he shot a stunner at him. It missed and bounced off the wall, hitting Hermione in the chest.

"Hermione!" Ron shouted, running over to her and receiving a curse in the face.

"Had enough?" Voldemort said as he turned towards Ginny, who hadn't moved at all since Voldemort first appeared.

"Harry? We need you... Fight him... Please" She said quietly as Voldemort grabbed Jamie up off the floor again.

"No... Very well then" As the wand pointed at Jamie's screwed up face, a shout echoed round the room.

"NO!" Alicia threw the cover off the bed completely and ran towards Harry. "Leave! I've told you before!" She brought her hand down and caught Harry across the cheek.
