Nico couldn't help but smirk when Cale didn't rise to the bait; it seemed spending time with Evolette had rubbed off on him or something. Idiot-boy should consider himself lucky.
"More than meets the eye I'm sure." Nico smirked at Evolette and gave her a 'we will talk later' look.
He turned to Mari and began to lead her away.
He merely smirked at her semi-flirtatious tone, still aware of the gathering crowd.
"Cheese and crackers may go well together in theory but it isn't something you can live on forever." Nicholai responded somewhat cryptically as she asked about Anna and Cale.
"I hope we run into Anna and Seth too." Nico agreed, loud enough for Cale to hear without yelling. Seth, unlike Cale; was someone Nicholai liked and respected.
"And it's only just begin." Nicholai agreed, registering Evolette and Cale out of the corner of his eye. Hmm, She was up to something.
A sardonic smile played at Nicholai's lips; how interesting. Nico wondered how Terry was; not that he'd met him yet but then Evolette hadn't yet met Kayla either.
Nico waved cheerfully at Evangeline as he and Mari walked away. He'd catch up on anything else in the common room, but for now he was busy. Mariska wasn't sure what to make of the spontaneous meeting of many people Nico knew, but she had noted that he had seemed interested in getting out of that odd group. She figured it had something to do with Cale. Well, it most definitely had something to do with him, she just wasn't sure what. She had however gotten the confirmation she wanted, which was to know whether or not Cale and Anne were together anymore. It was a good thing to know, who was on the outs with whom. Then you could choose a side, or simply choose to just play one against the other to see what would happen.
They had meandered along for a bit before she had suggested they go to the library; Mari figured she should see it. When she did, she was quite amazed, but she hid it behind a politely impressed attitude. " This is...more than I expected." She said quietly as they walked along amongst all the books." Was the library at Durmstrang like this?" She asked, as she was still very curious about his past. She figured sooner or later she would have to divulge a bit of her own, but she'd worry about that when she was asked.
