"Hi, Torie!" Gwen said. "Were you at the feast? I might have missed you because of the flying broccoli."
"Hey Gwen!" Torie went over and gave the girl a hug. "No, I wasn't at the feast. I needed to check on something at the library, so I figured I'd do it while I didn't have to cope with a bunch of lost first years clogging the hallways." Torie realised what she had just said, and blushed in embarassment. "No offense, first years......" She trailed off and bit her lip self-consciously. "How was your summer, Gwen? Are you all ready for Quidditch this year?"
