Hannah was mildly surprised at Jillian's answer. "A frog? That's interesting," she said. "Not in a bad way, I don't mean. Well, I think we should try to get you a frog," she smiled. "I'm sure there's some way. There's gotta be some down by the lake, or something." She felt like Jillian deserved to have a pet if she wanted one. Even a frog wasn't allowed at her house? But what could it hurt? But then again, who was Hannah to question other people's parents? Oh well, she thought. I already said we should do it. And I really do think we should. She grinned at Jillian. At first she had been a bit unsure of her, especially with her... erm... grand entrance, but she was starting to like her more and more as they talked.
