She was really tired she had been so busy talking and eating at the great hall. She wanted to sleep, but, she didn't want to miss another night of fun now that their back at school. And to think that they were in Hogwarts already, Via flipped her dirty blonde hair and went over to the window. She took a deep breath as she gazed outside. She's at Hogwarts now, not at BElle's. She decided to check the dormitories, for she was a little bit excited about her new poster bed. Too weird, Via didn't flopped herself at a couch, she headed straight to the girl's dormitories. But as she was about to take the first step up, she decided she still doesn't want to go there ans still wants to spend the time some other place. She turned back and made her way out again although she had just entered the common room. Just as she was about to leave she saw Anna being hugged by Astrid, I think Anna has a problem, she thought. She also saw out of the corner of her eye that Astrid went up the dormitory. She'll make it up when she gets back and she went out of the common room.
"Oh, hey, Via!" Anna called out, trying to be cheerful. Maybe it would work, maybe it wouldn't. There was no need to get the other students upset just because she was upset. Maybe if she smiled and put on a happy charade, they'd all never know just how badly she was hurting. When Via started up the stairs, Anna turned her attention to a new Gryffindor she still had yet to officially meet.

If there is room for Maggie, Shaylee and Kairi, Rosa and Hayden, then i wouldn't mind sharing with them too. But is the dorms really big enough for 7 people?"

Erica sat for a moment looking dreamily into the lit fireplace thinking about the events of the day. Shrugging she asked "Lizzie, don't you think our new head of house will hold a speech or are we really free to go to bed?" Looking around the faces in the common room she figured that she could ask one of the older students or one of the house prefects. Anna and Cale she remembered their names to be, but she had no idea what they looked like. Remembering something she looking up at Lizzie asking "Some time in the next few days would you mind accompaning me to the hospital wing? I need to get a big bump on my head checked out by the school nurse."
Anna approached the young girl with what she hoped appeared to be a friendly smile. "Hey, I'm Anna, the female Gryffindor prefect. Everything's a bit chaotic right now, but if you're looking for a place to sleep, the girl's dorms are up the stairs and down to your right," Anna said, turning and pointing in the direction of the dorms. "And hey, if you ever need anything, I'm always around...somewhere."

"....how about these curtains!" sh said tugging on one. "These are really nice, I mean, just feel how silky they feel!"
"Thanks, Allie!" Anna said, beaming with a friendly smile. Allie always did know how to make her smile, no matter what was going on. Anna had gotten really close to Allie and her friends last year, and she knew they would help her through this new ordeal. "I knew you'd underst---.....curtains?" Anna asked, confused at first about the change of topic. Then she understood that Allie was only trying to help, so she played along. "Oh, yeah, the curtains are great! Much better change from the boring ones last school year!"

"It's not a problem, really," she wheezed not wanting to impose on anyone. "I was just cut off guard." Daphne reminded herself to keep her eyes open for bouncing canines in the future.
When Anna saw Daphne hop up on the window ledge, she followed suit and hopped up after her. "It's quite alright, Daphne. I'm the prefect around here, well, one of them, so it's my duty to make sure everyone is comfortable around here. We completely understand. We'll just have to make sure you and TK go in opposite directions from now on."

Anna's eyes dropped down to the book Daphne was holding in her hands. It didn't look like any school book she'd ever seen. Hmm..interesting. "So, erm, what are you reading there, Daphne?" Anna asked.

"Yelled at all the time?" Anna asked, wrinking up her brows. "Oh, nevermind that. I've got something for you." Anna reached into her bag and pulled out an assortment of different candies she'd brought to school with her. "You can choose whatever you like, and no, before you ask, you can't chose my entire stash."

"My summer was really good actually," Anna replied, her face falling as she answered. She'd actually spent all summer with her now ex-boyfriend, and talking about summer break just brought back a lot of memories. Memories that now made her sad. "Yeah, erm, really good. What about yours?"

This, her seventh year at Hogwarts, couldn't have come quickly enough. Torie had changed a little bit over the summer, gotten more mature and sure of herself. She was determined to leave a mark on the school this year, a lasting memory that she had been here. She pulled on her school robes briefly, then gave the password to the fat lady who swung open the entrance to the Gryffindor common room. She stepped inside and breathed a sigh of relief. Everything was back to normal at last. She was home.
"Hey, Torie!" Anna greeted, waving to her long-time friend. Oh, no. Torie didn't know that Cale and Anna had recently broken up. Recently, as in, just this evening. Maybe Torie would wait a little while to ask why Anna wasn't anywhere near Cale right now. Maybe. Hopefully.

"I can't believe this is your seventh and final year here," Anna said, frowning at the thought. "I'm surely going to miss you!"

Anna caught sight of another somewhat-friendly face in the crowd. This girl was standing nearby, so Anna decided to stop her while she could. "Hey, erm, Hayden, right?" Anna asked. "We met at the feast. Are you settling in alright?"

This'll be a great year. No girlie stuff and wasting time arranging flowers." She smiled her widest smile, ignoring the strange and skeptical looks she received from some of her fellow students.

She looked around, taking in the beautiful Common Room. She really did miss this. Then she spotted a familiar face. "Daphne! There you are! I was wondering where you went!" Jillian skipped happily to where Daphne was and realized the girl was wheezing and looked a bit...terrified?

"Mermaid's fins! What happened to you? You got attacked by that Giant Squid or something?"
Anna jumped a bit as she heard someone call out for Daphne. Maybe Anna should move off the windowsill and let this other girl sit near her friend. Or maybe, she should probably introduce herself and try and make friends with this girl, as well.

"Hey, there!" Anna greeted. "I'm guessing you're a friend of Daphne's? I saw you at the feast, but so much was going on that I didn't get to introduce myself. I'm Anna Greingoth, one of the two prefects."
