Daphne listened to the girls prattle on about their summer and other things that Hopton wasn't quite interested in at the moment. Having a hard time breathing she continued to fondle her own robes until she her nimble fingers tumbled across her asthma pump. As she pulled it out of her robes' pocket, Daphne nodded at the dog's owner (what had Anna shouted out? TK? Although perhaps she was just calling the mutt...) accepting her apology wordlessly then proceeding to shake the pump before squeezing and inhaling once.
"It's quite alright," lied Daphne to Anna, TK and the rest of the girls who were listening, casting the canine a dubious glance filled with suspicion and disdain. "I just wasn't expecting it..."
As if anyone would expect a sudden vicious attack from a mongrel. "Dogs and I--we're not on good terms."
Sort of like Capulets and the Montagues.
Lex watched Daphne as she took out something she had seen something like that before. When she was younger maybe? Yes! Her mom used to use something like that whenever she got annoyed at her.
"Uh...if you say so." Alexis said slowly.
"Well TK doesn't act like a dog! He kinda acts like a mix between a cat and a human if that helps." The sixth year said with a grin. It was true. Usually dogs listened to their owners. TK did no such thing.
"I'm Alexis Chosen by the way."
Putting TK back on the ground Alexis watched him as he ran to a different part of the common room.

"I was kidding Anna! I get yelled at all the time anyways." Lexi said with a laugh. Not adding that she probably got yelled at for yelling first. But that wasn't important.
"She probably won't. No one gets used to TK. Unless of your you get used to not getting used to him.....So how was you're summer?" She ended lamely.

Not happy nor bad, just bored with pretty much anything that was around him. His eyes were searching for something in the room but unfortunately he couldn't spot it. Since he didn't found what he was looking for, he walks toward one corner of the common room, the opposite of where most of the other students were and sat there. He just needed a minute of quietness but he wasn't ready to go in the dorm just yet.
Finally getting away from his owner and those two girls TK ran around to look for someone else to play with. The girl he had went to first didn't seem to like him much. Sniffing the air he noticed a familiar sent. Looking around he started to bark at and run to the boy that he hadn't seem for over a year. Reaching the boys feet he barked some more.
