Elijah nodded. "It's quite all right. Now, down to it. What exactly is going on?"
He leaned back in his seat, slowly crossing his fingers into his lap. Part of him was curious - why would this be so important that another Department Head had to come all the way to the lower floors of the Ministry, just to deliver this man? The other side of him was anxious to end their meeting and leave, to see what the Minister thought of the vial. His curiosity was, simply, tearing him in two different directions.
