Mina could already tell that the starting feast would not be her favourite experience about the Hogwarts school year as she absently played with a strand of her hair, bored out of her wits. In her mind, she was wishing it would end very soon, so she could go to her dorm and do . . . something that didn't involve sitting and doing almost nothing.
With a sigh, she glanced around her at the faces of older students, before scanning the hall to see if she could spot anyone she knew. Cully or Star would do, but it seemed they'd either skipped out or she just couldn't spot them over the heads of the other students.
Once again cursing her height, she lowered herself back into her seat (she hadn't realised she'd risen from it whilst searching) and leant her elbows on the table, chin in her hands. Boredom was not her favourite emotion in life.
