"And I contradict everything YOU say? HA! I think you have to do that at least once a day or your head might explode. And don't take a crack at my clumsiness!" he exclaimed, standing up. That did it. It was not like he could CONTROL his stupid, clumsy feet or anything. Nope. It was some genetic problem or something, it had to be, right? "That's it, I'm going to settle this once and for all!" he cried, turning on his heel and stomping off to the staff table.
"Cale Markus Newell, you
know better than to bring your father's death into this," Anna warned. "We can settle this without being disrespectful."
Anna just stared at Cale with an expression that was some sort of mix between hurt and anger. Had it really come to
this? "Cale, I--," but she stopped short as he continued on and on, stabbing deeper and deeper with every word that he said. Not that she hadn't done a little bit of stabbing herself, though. She was just about to try and settle him down and resolve this once and for all, when he said a few things that were just not able to be settled...or, not at least right this moment.
"My head might explode?!?!" she shrieked. "CALE!" Oh, this was not good. No, no, no, not good at all. "The staff table?!?! Wait!" Anna jumped up from her seat so quickly she nearly knocked over a few things in the process. "Oh, no you don't! Not without ME there to say my side!"
