Then she mentioned changing her into an animal. " Well it would of been tempting if i could of had a wand. Hence she broke the one and threatened to break the second one. That and I'm not quite the age to do magic outside of school. If i had then i wouldnt be sitting next to you. I think i'll keep her in mind for the future. Just in case i need some extra practice. Im sure she would suffer through for the sake of someone's education." she took a moment to think as she wondered what would be the perfect animal for her." What do you think she would be as an animal. Maybe a rad canary. I heard they are not the nicest birds." Elizabeth raised an eyebrow as Asteira spoke about someone knowing what she was talking about, but didn't say anything. But then her cousin asked about the care of magical creatures professor, and she had to glance back at the staff table. "I don't know who it is, since I have no idea if it's going to be one of the two from last term, or an entirely new one. But I don't think they're up there anyway. I mean, there looks like there's a couple seats still empty." She looked back at Asteira. "But I kind of hope it's going to be Professor Brooks. She was a pretty good professor last term. Seemed like she was on our side."
She laughed a bit as Asteira said she wasn't of age to do magic outside of school, but agreed that it would be funny. "So in a couple of years, if we see her again, you can transfigure her." She tilted her head in thought as canaries wer brought up. "You know, Muggles used canaries in coal mines to detect gases that could harm the miners," she said absent-mindedly, remembering another random fact she had read at one time or another.
