Elizabeth nodded as Mari suggested they start a study group, and was pleased when both Ludo and Asteira seemed to agree. "Sounds like a plan. And if we work as a team, we can motivate each other to do the work. Especially in the subjects we don't necessarily like."
Then Ludo told her not to worry about how she hadn't been up on her chess knowledge. "Oh, I know. I'm not laying blame. I just felt out of the loop a bit. That's all. And if you guys help me out, I won't have to worry, will I?" She smiled at him, and then he started joining in with the teasing. Flashing her own grin, she said, "Deal. I won't transfigure you, and you won't sneak any potions into my food or drink."
Before addressing her thoughts on the librarian situation to the group, she turned as Ludo introduced them all to a young Gryffindor who had come up to the table. "Hi, Hannah. I'm Elizabeth Andrews. It is nice to meet you," she said with a smile. Then Hannah went off on her way, and she turned back to the group. Tilting her head, she spoke again. "I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but if you look back at the staff table, you'd notice that this Mr. Ingles isn't there, but I do see Madam Kohan, who was the other librarian. The librarian at Belle's, that is." She paused, then continued. "As far as I can tell, though, she's pretty cool too. So I think we're okay."
Then she grinned at Asteira. "I'm not that cruel. And I'm certainly not showing any bias against any of the houses. Every Slytherin I've met so far has been perfectly nice. Although I have to say it would have been slightly entertaining if you had ended up transfiguring the shopkeeper at Ollivander's into something." She took another drink of her pumpkin juice to keep herself from giggling.
She would need high motivation in a few different areas. Probably more like explaining things. she listened to elizabeth point out that mr. ingles man wasnt sitting at the staff table, but apprently the Belle's librarian was. " Im just glad someone knows what your talking about." she told elizabeth as she didnt know much." Which one is the care of magical creatures teacher?" she asked elizabeth as she couldnt wait to see that class. Seeing as her mother was a caretaker and all.
Asteira smiled at elizabeth as she defended herself." Well bella had to learn it from someone." she let out a snicker as she brought up the olivanders lady again. Then she mentioned changing her into an animal. " Well it would of been tempting if i could of had a wand. Hence she broke the one and threatened to break the second one. That and I'm not quite the age to do magic outside of school. If i had then i wouldnt be sitting next to you. I think i'll keep her in mind for the future. Just in case i need some extra practice. Im sure she would suffer through for the sake of someone's education." she took a moment to think as she wondered what would be the perfect animal for her." What do you think she would be as an animal. Maybe a rad canary. I heard they are not the nicest birds."
