She offered Natka a seat and some cookies, and continued talking. "I'm so excited we're finally here. Aren't you? And there are so many nice people to meet. The first years in Gryffindor are Kairi, Rosa, Shaylee, Maggie, Erica... I haven't forgotten anyone, have I??" she looked around as she pointed her new friends out for Natka, and then turned back to her. "If you make it to the quidditch team, I bet you I'll be there to fight against you in a match! Haha, maybe I will try out for the team anyway, since everybody seem to want it.. I'll wait and see if I can fly at all after our first flying lesson" she said with a laugh. Erica gave Lizzie room to hug Natka too. It was great to have her two friends around her. In seconds Lizzie was off bombarding Natka with questions. Sitting down in her seat again Erica poured Natka a glas of pumpkin juice to go with the cookies. Listening she mumbled "No, i think that's everyone if there arn't any people left to sort." Looking up at the staff table she saw that the sorting hat was gone and the professor's were eating. Smiling at Lizzie she said "Of course you should try out for the quidditch team, Lizzie. You'll be able to fly in no time when the flying lessons start and we all get some practice in. I'm sure." Natka looked around at the many people surrounding Erica, and smiled, rather nervously. She wished she could be as relaxed as Erica seemed to be around strangers.
"Hi," Natka said to the people Lizzie pointed out, sitting down for a moment next to her friends and nibbling on the offered cookie.
"And good for you, I'm sure you'll learnt o fly in no time!" Natka grinned at the thought of playing quidditch againt her two friends.
Despite not being in the same house, she was glad that they were stil willing to keep up their new friendship. It made her feel a if she fit in. Besides, she'd still see both Lizzie and Erica at breaks, and in lessons, so really, being in another house wasn't that big a deal at all.
"So, when do you think the speech will be? And what will it be about?" she asked, curiously looking over at the staff table. Erica was glad that Natka had started to make friends in her own house. It wouldn't be fair if she and Lizzie made a lot of new friends and not Natka. Seeing a hint of nervousness in Natka eyes, Erica gave her friends hand a light squezze whispering in her ear. "Don't be nervous. Just be yourself. That's what i'm doing. And don't worry so much. I'm sure you'll meet a lot of new friends in Ravenclaw. If they arn't nice then Lizzie and I are here for you no matter what. I promise." Erica looked up at the staff table as Natka mentioned an welcoming speech. Shrugging she said "I don't know, probably when the headmistress has finished her dinner. I have no clue what the speech could be about. Maybe about school rules and new professor's?" Quote:

Smiling and waving goodbye to Erica, Lizzie and Kairi, Natka left the Gryffindor table and headed back to where her housemates were seated. As Natka stood up to go back to the Ravenclaw table, Erica wished that her friend could have stayed throughout the rest of the feast. But as Natka said it was probably best if she heard the speech with her fellow housemates in Ravenclaw. Erica waved goodbye and then focused on her last lemon muffin hoping for the headmistress speech to come soon. She started to feel very tired from the eventfull day.
