It made perfect sense, and besides it was always good to have someone to fall back on if one slipped up every so often, and it wasn't like she wouldn't return the favor to them either. She was setting up her network now, building a base from which to branch out to the other students. " I mean, I prefer working with a team anyhow." She said after a slight pause. Quote:

Liz looked at her drink at the mention of Potions. "Of course not. Just as long as this transfiguration business doesn't go out of hand..." he said, flashing a smile.
He turned his attention to Mari as she suggested a study group. "I don't see why not. We could meet in the Library..." He thought back to Cooper's School last term, "Maybe Mr. Ingles will be our Librarian here. You girls would love him."
It was then that a young Gryffindor girl walked up to their group and introduced herself. "Oh..er..hello. I'm Ludo...and this is...Liz, Asteira and Mari," he said, gesturing to each girl in turn. "Nice to meet you." Quote:

I save my transfiguration of ferrets for those who deserve it." she raised an eye brow at elizabeth as she talked about not trust her now that she was a slytherin." Not being house racial now are well. Just because im wearing green. Very loving cousin i have."
"You'll join our competition right? More the better." she asked mari as they had talked about having a competition on who would get the most points. "Whats three against one?" she asked as it would be three ravenclaws against herself. She was going to have to find another person to help her balance out all the blue."Study group sounds good. I have to admit though, dont ask me about divination or potions. I'll find a way to make you worse at it than you already are." she warned Mari. ".i just hope during class i dont answer in french. that wouldnt be too good."
"he has a point but dont worry about it. Just because your behind doesnt mean anything. Your smart, you'll catch on fast." she was now determined to teach her cousin how to play. Hopefully not better than herself. Student beating the more experienced student wasnt the best."dont worry. Just her side. She's the dangerous one." she teased.
she was thinking again about speaking in another language as she would have to watch that. she had already done it in the book shop."mr. Ingles...why is that? I mean why would we love him? Is he funny? Or does he tend to run into people as well?" she teased lightly as she moved to grab a red apple. she heard her name as she looked to see a gryffindor girl." Hi. Asteira blood. Nice to meet you hannah." she said smiling at the girl. Elizabeth nodded as Mari suggested they start a study group, and was pleased when both Ludo and Asteira seemed to agree. "Sounds like a plan. And if we work as a team, we can motivate each other to do the work. Especially in the subjects we don't necessarily like."
Then Ludo told her not to worry about how she hadn't been up on her chess knowledge. "Oh, I know. I'm not laying blame. I just felt out of the loop a bit. That's all. And if you guys help me out, I won't have to worry, will I?" She smiled at him, and then he started joining in with the teasing. Flashing her own grin, she said, "Deal. I won't transfigure you, and you won't sneak any potions into my food or drink."
Before addressing her thoughts on the librarian situation to the group, she turned as Ludo introduced them all to a young Gryffindor who had come up to the table. "Hi, Hannah. I'm Elizabeth Andrews. It is nice to meet you," she said with a smile. Then Hannah went off on her way, and she turned back to the group. Tilting her head, she spoke again. "I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but if you look back at the staff table, you'd notice that this Mr. Ingles isn't there, but I do see Madam Kohan, who was the other librarian. The librarian at Belle's, that is." She paused, then continued. "As far as I can tell, though, she's pretty cool too. So I think we're okay."
Then she grinned at Asteira. "I'm not that cruel. And I'm certainly not showing any bias against any of the houses. Every Slytherin I've met so far has been perfectly nice. Although I have to say it would have been slightly entertaining if you had ended up transfiguring the shopkeeper at Ollivander's into something." She took another drink of her pumpkin juice to keep herself from giggling.
