She had sat alone a the Ravenclaw table for a while but, getting bored after a couple of minutes, decided to see if she could spot her friends at their house table. Everyone else was mingling, after all, so she saw no reason to stay put the entire evening. Besides, she felt rather curious about the other houses - were they ll very different from each other?
Having friends in Gryffindor meant she'd have an easier job of finding that out.
"Natka! Wow It's so good to see you, I'm so sorry we're not in the same house. You're in Ravenclaw, right? Are things okey over there? Come, have a seat next to me and Erica." Lizzie gave Natka a hug, she got really happy when she saw that Natka had come to visit them. She felt bad about Natka ending up in one house and herself and Erica in another. She wouldn't like it, to be the one alone. But Natka would still be her friend, and they could see each other in classes and breakes and everthing. She offered Natka a seat and some cookies, and continued talking.
"I'm so excited we're finally here. Aren't you? And there are so many nice people to meet. The first years in Gryffindor are Kairi, Rosa, Shaylee, Maggie, Erica... I haven't forgotten anyone, have I??" she looked around as she pointed her new friends out for Natka, and then turned back to her.
"If you make it to the quidditch team, I bet you I'll be there to fight against you in a match! Haha, maybe I will try out for the team anyway, since everybody seem to want it.. I'll wait and see if I can fly at all after our first flying lesson" she said with a laugh.
