Just as Elijah was ready to leave, a knock sounded at his door. Sighing, and knowing it was a part of his job, he slowly stood and crossed the room. "Excuse me," he nodded, and opened it up to reveal two people - a fellow Department head, and a shabby man he'd never seen before.
"Can I help you?" he asked, wondering what this was all about.
