Egypt stepped off the lifts on level nine and she shivered as the cold black granite of the whole level seemed to press down on her. She shuddered as she thought of the sort of person who wanted to work down here. She looked up and down the hall and spotted Mr. Woods officer. She quickly walked up to it and knocked urgently. She did not want to be down her longer than she had to be. She looked back to make sure the man was still behind her.
