"Anyway," she said, taking a deep breath, "Now all are clumsy little antics are over, we shall be talking about civalised things, shall we not, Miss Phoenix?" Kairi asked, once again in her fake posh voice. She grinned and then returned to her normal voice. "So, how's things at home?" Kairi asked curiously. Her own father had recently taken to hurting her too, something Phoenix's father did also. "You don't have to tell me if you don't want to, I don't even know why I brought it up," she said shrugging. "It's probably because my bruise began to ache," she said, showing Phoenix her wrist that had an oddly purple bracelet on it.
