I think so, it's the best food I've ever tasted, especially the chips," she said in one full flow. She took a deep breath, "Sorry about that, I do tend to babble on a bit sometimes," she said, with a grin. Erica stroked her head absentmindedly feeling the bump still on her head. The good thing was that it had stopped swelling and it didn't hurt anymore. Looking at Kairi she responded "I'm okay now. I think you're right. My head got hit with the heaviest book in the lot. I've still got a big bump on my head from it. It's stopped swelling and hurting, but my auntie wants me to have it checked out by the school nurse." Erica smiled and nodded "Yes, I’m a first year. Do you think we will get to learn how to use our wands and perform spells and potions?"
Eating up the last of her lemon muffin she mumbled "Quidditch is what I’m most looking forward to, too. I hope to try out for the house team, but only if first years are allowed. I'm looking forward to all classes and that includes Transfiguration and Charms." It was a bit hard to keep up with Kairi's pace and change of subject. Taking a short pause to gather her thoughts she said "Yes, the food here is definitely delicious compared to what my auntie cooks. She isn't much of a cook." Erica grinned at Kairi saying "Don't apologize I tend to babble on too, if I have a lot on my heart." |
