"NO!" Bree responded immediately. "I don't date. Boys are just, you know, boys. They aren't boyfriends or friends or anything..." she paused "...yet." she finished almost to herself. After meeting Raiden she'd realized that perhaps boys weren't so plague-ridden as had been presented to her before.
"Well maybe you'll get lucky and yours won't offer you dating advice," she joked. She was calmer now. The argument seemed to have died down.
Mariel giggled at Bree's response.
"I was just joking about that. Boys are so... silly and weird. At least the ones I've met," she added, rolling her eyes and still grinning, thinking of several strange encounters she had over the past month.
She covered a very large yawn with her hand as she looked over at the Ravenclaw table.
"I should probably get back to my table. I hear the Headmistress is supposed to make a speech and then hopefully I can get to bed. I feel like I haven't slept in days." The excitement of the day was finally starting to take it's toll on Mariel. She looked at Bree and gave her a little grin before getting up from the table.
"Maybe I'll see you in class?"
