Miss Hopton's lips parted yet there was no speech to be found. At a loss for an immediate answer, Daphne opted for closing her mouth to at least look decent. Jillian was odd, she concluded as she stared at the girl's face curiosity etched in her own. Her mind definitely worked differently than most humans. Instead of running on neurons and brain cells it was probably charged by cotton candy and artificial coloring.
"No," she answered simply. "Mister Wendleworth's parents and mine know each other that's all." Daphne was still trying to digest her last question and she laughed softly, tilting her head slightly. "I have nothing against Miss...I don't know her."
