She waited as Asteira finally noticed Ludo, then turned back to her as she apologized. "It's okay. I don't know that we would have gotten a lot of time to talk or anything anyway." She shrugged as chess came up. She had never really gotten into chess. But maybe that was because she had never known anyone who had played it before.

As she was asked if it was the green, she laughed. "Yes and no. It identifies you as a member of Slytherin, but doesn't mean anything, really. It's just, some Slytherins get really into their superiority thing, and it reflects badly on others." She presonally had never developed the need to separate people by houses. And then she looked back at Asteira, surprised. "A competition? For points?" She shook her head. "No, I don't think there should be wagers."

She flushed a bit as she could tell her cousin was getting frustrated by her specifying their relationship. "I'm sorry," was all she could get out. She didn't really know why she did it.
She was curious where someone would find a name such as grizabella, but she wasnt about to ask. " Well it also means you didnt have to sit there and be bored. Theirs a bonus. And thanks to your bella she gave you exercise. Always good to have." she pointed out the good things about her little adventure on the train. she heard superior as she wished now she had took the time to read that huge book again." what are we Superior to? I like the color green, but really isnt my favorite color." she teased lightly as though the colors were the reason they were better. hopefully she hadnt explained it while she had spaced. she smiled as she had to laugh a little at her cousin. She looked a little petrified if you asked her." No wagers then. Just to see who's better?" she loved competitions, challenges...whatever you would like to call them.when Elizabeth apologized for setting everything straight in their family tree she just gave her a shrug." whatever."

Asteira asked him about his chess game. "Sadly, I never got the opportunity. It'd be pretty lonely to play against myself. But now that I'm back amongst some Ravenclaws, I might find an opponent. That or Gobstones." He smiled as he thought of secret Gobstones tournaments held by Cooper and Belle teachers last term.
Asteira then mentioned wagers on House Points. It honestly sounded fun.
"Sounds interesting. Although I've been on the short side of earnings in previous terms. So maybe a wager isn't for me."

She then talked about green clothing...
"Green? So are you a Slytherin now?"
"well at least if you played against yourself you would always win." she listened to him talk about gobstones as she hadnt heard of that either." well i'll play you sometime, but im not the best at it either. Must be a family thing." asteira teased as elizabeth said she wasnt good at it either." I'll try anytime you would like." she offered him as she then asked both or anyone either. " whats gobstones?" as ludo said he didnt want wagers either she decided to completely give up the wagers idea." alright so just playing to see who wins with the most points. You in ludo? More the merrier" she asked hopeful that he would join in. when ludo asked if she was slytherin she gave him a nod." Yes, but you wont see me without my scarf." she said pulling out a little bit of her red silk scarf.

Asteira had spaced out there for a few minutes as she came back to catch that everyone was talking about houses and quidditch. Not before Elizabeth explained the unfortunate events of last years school change. Quidditch was alright for her, but you werent going to get her near a broom. She wasn't one to be floating in mid air with nothing but air between you and the ground. It was a disaster waiting to happen.
