"I would be honoured to sit next to you," he said quietly, and somewhat ashamedly. He pulled the chair out and fell into the seat, frowning as Rae's appearance finally started to register in his head. She seemed...thinner than the last time he'd seen her.
"I'm going to hazard a guess and say that you've had your child?" he asked as he reached for the water to fill the glass in front of him.
