However, she was interrupted by more disgruntled noises and she looked up wide-eyed at Jason. What was he going on about now? Nodding, she agreed partially with what he was saying but wasn't all too sure what triggered such a reaction from him. "Yes, friends," she repeated just as she had done to Jillian, wondering if it was custom at Hogwarts to throw such a term around with such freedom.

Another girl joined them and still in shock and confused at what Jason was going on about, she nodded at the newcomer. Definitely, goblets were easier to talk to. Definitely.

Being very careful to not touch Daphne Hopton, Raiden sat down with a smile. She had shown in Diagon Alley that she seemed iffy on the whole touching thing... He tilted his head and looked at her, then at the other girl who he didn't know. He gave her a little wave, and then his attention was back on Daphne Hopton.

"I guess... I hope they get used to me, it would be sad if I didn't have friends in my own house to ta-"

He was rather rudely interrupted by the scary guy screaming 'OW OW'... Raiden leaned a bit closer to Daphne, trying to stay as far away from the guy as possible.

"What the heck is wrong with that guy?" Raiden whispered to her. "Why's he shouting like that?"

He cringed. The older student's shouting was going to give him a headache if he kept it up. Raiden resisted his natural urge to be kind and see if the boy was alright. He was odd, and odd in a way that worried the first-year.
