Attica had been missing from the roster of the ministry office for quite some time now due to an unfortunate illness she had contracted while visiting family back home in Canada. She was just now being to feel better, but it would take some time before she would be back up to her usual chipper and detail oriented self. She hoped that Egypt would realize this and be understanding. From what she knew of the woman, Attica was sure she would be.
"I hope I didn't leave you in too much of a lurch while I was gone." said Attica apologetically. "I did try to come back as soon as I was able. I'm afraid I am a little out of the loop as to what sorts of special projects we might be working on. Could you perhaps fill me in?"
Egypt nodded her head in understand of Attica plight. She herself had to take maternity leave more times that she cared to mention.
"That is alright with me. I would rather you get healthy then stress yourself with work right now." She said softly.
Egypt shook her head no.
"Think nothing of it. We all have things that pop up in out lives that can't be avoided. I completely understand. The work got done. The important thing is that you are on the mend." She nodded with a smile.
"Well I think we have had all the floors that we were asked to clean done, and security has swept all the floors. The gift shop is stocked. So it looks like you can take it easy till the conference starts." She told her with a smile.
