Yeah, she does. Like Emma said, they changed it in the movie. In the book, Tonks notices Harry hasn't come off the train yet so she goes to get him. Also, in the book, that's where Harry notices the change in her Patronus when she calls for Snape to open the gate.

I really wish they would've kept the whole Tonks/Lupin storyline. :/
