Rowan closed her eyes and took a deep breath to try and calm herself. The was slowly but steadily making it's way to level 4. She alone except for the few memos that were flying over her head. She reached up and made sure her hair was still in place. The debate over whether she should wear it up or down had kept her up most of the night. Not one to get easily flustered, she found it disconcerting that she was so nervous now. But she wanted this job and was praying that it went well.
The lift finally came to a stop and the doors opened. Rowan turned and started walking down the hall. Finding the door to the Werewolf Registery Office was easy enough. Gathering her courage she opened the door and stepped into the office. Upon first glance she thought she was alone till two voices registered.
Over at a table sat two individuals. Both had quills and parchment and seemed to be deep in discussion.
"Great," she thought, "First day in and I'm already late for a meeting. Well it might not concern me, who knows? Alrighty, where do I go from here?"
Seeing a seat against the wall next to the door she had just come in, she quietly sat down to wait.
"I'll just wait till there done." she thought. Odd that if this were anywhere else she would have walked up gladly and introduced herself. Here however, she was gonna have to curb her "butterfly" tendencies until she got a feel for how things were done. *sigh* |
