Alex smiled at Porcelain. "Nice to meet you," she said, taking the other girl's hand and shaking it warmly. "Well..." she blushed as the girl mentioned her trip. "More like, not watching where I'm going," she said with a half smile. "I know the feeling... the birds upstair were making a racket this morning, over a stupid worm," she said with a sigh. When Porcelain offered the grapes, she smiled graciously. "Thanks, these look delicious."
Suddenly, people began to wander in. She nodded and smiled at each person, carefully logging away both the faces and the names so that she would remember them later. She heard Porcelain mention something about breakfast, and she smiled as her stomach growled in response. "Breakfast sounds wonderful... anyone for joining me?" she asked the gathering group. "I'm Alex, for those that don't know me," she said, waving to the group in general.
