UPDATE:
MTV now also has an interview with the same man in which he talks about why they modeled the game on the Wii first, with other consoles following afterwards.
Quote:
“We made that decision from day one,” he told me last week. “We did, I think, a good job with the Wii last year, but we’re doing a great job this year. Because this is where the casual audience is, the mass audience is here. It’s a great control system, but you’ve got to learn to use it.”
UPDATE #2: Another video interview with Jonathan has emerged wherein he talks about the Nintendo DS and the range of choice in the game on that platform. He also notes that during duelling you can throw 'ever-bashing boomerangs'.
