The Drama

Cale is not one to get involved in a bunch of sneaky things. No sir. He likes to stay out of the drama, unless of course there is a bit of glory in it for him. Not that this usually happens. Most of the time if he's stupid enough to get himself involved in drama, it doesn't end up turning out very good.

Of course, things seemed to have changed since he entered Cooper's.

For one, he had somehow gotten himself involved in some secret Order called the Order of the Mane. At first he didn't think much about the numbers he had gotten in return from that mysterious owl post--he figured it was a joke or something. Oh, haha, let's all prank the Prefect! But no, it wasn't a joke, because three other guys had gotten letters like that too. And, he soon found out, that four girls at the other school had letters from mysterious orders as well.

So, when in doubt, hold in a meeting in the locker room!

The meeting did not go very smoothly at first. Turns out, even though Anna didn't get a letter, the girls had invited her along, because a few of them were first years and wanted some extra help. Cale was very excited to see her there--obviously--but some people weren't so thrilled that an extra member had been added to their party. Particularly one Slytherin boy, Clifford, who got into a shouting match with Anna and Cale and ended up leaving in a huff.

Anyways, enough about that silly order thing. It's supposed to be SECRET, after all. Besides, something much more amusing had happened in the kitchens earlier.

Cale got involved in some sort of plot to set up the house elves in the kitchens with Kingston, Barry, and Will. Or at least, that was what he thought they were doing. So, were all three of them on Borr's good side now? No fair! It was kind of sketchy, and Will just asked if he wanted to join in. Cale figured he could help, since this one elf, Beezley, had recently developed a bit of a crush on him.

Yes, it's true. Beezley the house elf fancied Cale Newell.

As if THAT wasn't embarrassing enough, she completely fawned over him in front of the guys. OHMIGOSH!

Throw in an incident with some robots, a couple of mad Skrewts, and some girls sneaking into the school, and you've got yourself one very tired--and stressed out--prefect.

Well, that's all for now. He's still fuming a bit about the loss in Quidditch to Slytherin--better let him play out his man-tantrum in private.
