"Well it may be true that no actual physical harm comes from transfiguring an animal, still there is a chance that something could go wrong if the transfiguration isn't done right. Besides we don't really know what kind of harm we are causing to the poor animal when we transfigure them, who knows they might be traumatised as a result of the experience." He shook his head. "We would need to see into the head of the animal to know that."
