"Um, perhaps it's the way the Runes can be interpreted professor, unlike divination which can only have one or two outcomes, with Runes you can have different outcomes, depending on where the rune is placed, whither it be upside down or right side up. In Runes nothing is fixed, it's all up in the air so to speak" she stopped before she rambled on, which was her custom.
Shaking her head, she new she sounded dumb. Why couldn't she be in charms again, or even DADA? She knew those subjects, much better than this one. All well she was here to learn, right?
Shaw waved her handkerchief in response to the first two students as another sneeze was filling up her nostrils. "Right..." -sneeze- "two points for each." She took a couple of steps backwards making sure to place one foot behind the other carefully. No need in falling in class from a simple sneeze, watery eyes and a stuffy nose.
"Can anyone tell me what the word 'rune' means," she asked the class with another sneeze that echoed across the room and bounced off the walls.
