Curt ran into The Three Broomsticks at a jog to get out of the icy weather outside. He took off his Huffepuff scarf and gloves and walked over to the counter to get himself a butterbeer. After he did, we walked through the crowded area looking for the nearest open table. Once he found one he sat down with a sigh, taking a large swig from his butterbeer.

Where was everyone? He thought to himself for a moment, he hadn't seen Vannah, Amelia, Alexis... or ANY of them in ages.

Running into The Three Broomsticks Alexis thought she had seen a certain Hufflepuff she had been looking for. It was freezing outside but that didn't make Hogsmeade less enjoyable. And she was sure that if she saw this Hufflepuff this would be one special trip. Spotting him again she walked over to his table and sat down.

"Curttttttttt! Hi!" Alexis said excitedly. This was too good. She hoped her plan would work. "How are you? Did Mia tell you that I said you did awesome in the match?" Yes. First small talk. Then she'd drop the bomb.

Curt was just sitting there alone, sipping from his butterbeer every now and then until he heard a very familiar voice running up to him. His face brightened up considerably as Alexis Chosen came running up to his table. Boy was he glad to see her!!

"Hey Lex!!" he said with a wide grin, he hadn't talk to her since the train. That was waaay too long. "I'm doing pretty good I guess, just getting out of Cooper's. Can't stand that place." he said with a slight smile, he really missed Hogwarts. And as Alexis asked if Amelia had told him that she had said well done, Curt have a slightly guilty nod. "Thanks." he said with slightly red cheeks yet a broad smile all the same. "You were great too!" he said with a nod, she really was. She had always been one of the best chasers around, and Curt was extremely relieved that she wasn't playing against him.

Lexi wasn't surprised by his answer. By what Fred had told her it was horrible. And that was expected because it WAS runned (yes runned it was now a word) by the ministry. So they couldn't except anything better. "Makes sense. I mean I jump at any chance to get out of Belle's so you'd guys do the same." Alexis said with a nod. Small talk was killllllllllllling her! She wanted to get on with the plan!!!

'Erm....thanks I did alright." She said dismissing the whole Quidditch talk. No Quidditch talk today! She had very limited time. "So I have something very important to tell you."

Curt smiled as Alexis mentioned that Belle's was just was bad. Of course it was, the Ministry was messing everything up. Not all the fifth years were going to fail their OWL's because of them. Well, that was how Curt saw it anyway. "Makes sense." he said with a small grin to Alexis. So yeah, the new schools were bad.

Curt grinned slightly as he noticed that Quidditch was probably the last thing Alexis wanted to talk about at the time. It was then when Alexis told him that she had something very important to tell him. He eye's widened and he raised an eyebrow. "Uh, okay. What is it?" he asked curiously, knowing Lex... it could be anything.

Right when Alexis put on her serious face, Curt's automatically went into the same phase. This really must be serious, Curt thought, wide eyed. Alexis was never this serious, ever!

And right as Alexis mentioned Savannah's name, Curt became even that much more focused on what was being sad. Not saying that he wasn't already extremely focused, because he was. Curt nodded as Alexis said that Vannah was acting weird, and said "Right," in almost a robotic fashion. Waiting for her to finish what she was saying. Lex stammered on, and Curt's pulse picked up as she said that Vannah was too scared to tell Curt. Curt's eyes were unblinking, and Curt waiting in silence as Alexis began to finish what Vannah had told her to tell him.

Right when she said it, Curt's heart lept and his stomach dropped. It felt funny, yet it felt oh so nice. Through the turmoils of Cooper's school, it was actually the very exact kind of information he had been wanted to hear. Vannah loved him! All throughout their first four years of Hogwarts Curt had known that he had liked Vannah, like her VERY VERY much, in fact. But it wasn't until this separation when Curt realized his true, and deep affection for the fifth year Hufflepuff Prefect, Savannah Mae. Everyone had always told kid's of his age that it was too young to love someone, and Curt disagreed. He loved Savannah back, more than he could tell Lex or ever describe.

Curt pressed his lips together, stuggling for words. He didn't know how to respond to that. Curt nervously looked back up to Alexis, and as he did he broke out into the biggest smile he had ever given. He looked like he had just won two million galleons or more. His face was beet red and his eye's were shining jubilantly. He settled down and shook his head, before looking back to Alexis. "Well, Lex." he said, with a nervous smile. "I honestly, am, uh-. Extremely relieved and extremely happy to hear that." he said, his heavy breathing and rapid heartrate finally settling down. "Because I am indeed, in love with Savannah as well." he said, the thought bringing a smile to his face again. There, he said it. He felt kinda awkward telling that to Alexis, but he had to say it. He had to.

Grinning as Savannah showed just in time on time or just behind time. Either way it worked it self out pretty good. "Vannah! Perfect timing." She said looking back and forth between both Hufflepuff Prefects. Alexis said, saying the last part very very quickly. She needed to get out of here. "Which she didn't really tell me by the way Curt. I made all that stuff up. BUT Vannah you should be happy to know that Curt said he loved you back. Soooo I'll just head back to Belle's now." With that she jumed out of her seat and ran out of The Three Broomsticks so fast you would think she was on fire.

"Hey Vannah!" he said to her as she came to their table. Curt eyed Alexis, and nervousness swelled up in his stomach. Surely she wasn't about to say everything right here... Curt listened as Alexis began explaining everything to Vannah, and then his mouth fell open as she said that Vannah never said she loved him. Curt could have died of embarrasment right there, and he wanted to stand up and hex Alexis right then and there. When she finished telling Vannah that Curt himself had geniunely said he loved Vannah, his eyed Alexis with imploring eyes. Why would she do that?? he thought, still in a state of shock. All of these scenarious popped into his head just about as fast as Alexis fan out of the Three Broomsticks. What if that creeps her out and makes her stop liking me? What if she doesn't feel the same? What iff...what if? The what if's could go on forever, and Curt looked back up to Vannah with an empty feeling inside. He really did love Vannah, or he thought he did. Maybe he was too young to know love, but that feeling in the bottom of his stomach told him that he wasn't wrong. Curt pressed his lips together tightly in deep thought, and after failing at finding any meaningful words to say he just repeated what Alexis said.

"Well, it's true. What Lex said is, er- completely correct." he said, his face completely red. His eye's were still kind and caring, and he looked into Vannahs even though he found it extremely hard to.
