"I'll perform the spell on you then," he sniggered.
"No!" Ginny panicked, but was laughing at the same time. "Don't, I hate that spell, I'll probably start some accidental magic and burn myself or you in process—really, I'm better off all drenched, believe me."
This made Harry laugh even more, and Ginny tried to scowl at him; but it didn't work very well. In the end she was back to laughing herself and soon found her arms around Harry's neck again, who held her close to give her at least some warmth. Her hands on his back were freezing, as was her cheek that was pressed against his neck. Finally, the last sniggers died down, and they just kept close to each other, Ginny shivering and sniffling a bit.

"What's that noise?" Ginny asked after several minutes. Harry frowned; he had heard it too. He strained his ears, but it was hard to distinguish any noise through the racket the rain was making. "Did you hear that?" she inquired, looking up at him.
"Yeah," Harry replied, letting her go a little; but Ginny didn't loosen her grip around his neck. "Sounded like voices or something. But it might just be a group of people walking through the park, you know."
Ginny nodded, letting her head sink back onto Harry's shoulder. Her cold nose was a fraction of an inch away from his neck and the air she was exhaling tickled him in a pleasant way as they heard it again, this time closer. It was quite clearly the chatter of several people, dispersed by shouts, a person calling every now and then. First Harry thought of somebody having lost a dog, but then he heard it again.
"Ginny! Harry!"
"They have to be here somewhere; those guys said they saw two people walk into here…"
"Probably drowned in this rain; I doubt they had an umbrella or anything with them."
"Oh, come on, Neville. They're not that thick. A wizard and a witch should be able to transfigure something into an umbrella if it starts to rain."
"I was just saying…"
"Ginny! Harry!"
In the meantime, both were still clinging to each other, suppressing fits of laughter as they heard Ron, Hermione and Neville approach. "Why didn't any of us think of transfiguring something into an umbrella?" Harry whispered, laughing silently.
"No idea," Ginny laughed back. "Oh, let's just stay here and not move—I'd like to see Ron get a fit when we arrive back home in a few hours, absolutely drenched from head to toe—"
"You're the only one that's drenched, Gin," Harry laughed, "if I may remind you, it's because you have a phobia concerning
Heating Spells."
"Well, I'll make sure you're wet too, don't you worry about that!"
