As Harry walked towards the stairs, he heard Hermione trying to calm down Ron. 'If he doesn't want to listen, why talk to him?' Harry said to himself.
“Whats the matter? I heard shouting coming from th living room?” Ginny gasped as she ran into the room. Harry looked at her and felt his anger ebb away from him.
“Well, I tried to tell Ron and Hermione about us, but Ron wouldn't listen...” Harry started. Ginny sat down on the kitchen table and listened as Harr explained all about the argument and how they had listened at the door.
“Well, you have a point Harry... You was trying to tell him about it but, Ron being Ron, he won't listen.” Ginny said calmly as she slid herself off the table and over to the door.
Pushing it open slightly, they could hear Hermione explaining to Ron that Harry was going to tell them about him and Ginny.
“Ron, if you would just listen to him. I'm sure that he would forgive you” Hermione said as Harry and Ginny listened at the door.
“Let me talk to him. He should listen to me.” Ginny said as she shut the door. Harry nodded at her and sat down on the table Ginny had just vacated.
“Okay then. I just can't believe that he would react like that... He's always put me with you... Look at last year when he said that I should go with you to the Yule Ball...” Harry said quietly, looking up at Ginny, who had moved so that she was sitting next to him. She wrapped her arms round him and hugged him.
“Yeah, I know. But i'd rather forget about that... My feet still hurt...” Se said seriously as she buried her head in his shoulder. Harry started laughing and hugged Ginny back.
“Okay Gin. You work your magic and get him to understand... If anyone can, you can.” Harry said as he pulled himself away from Ginny to look at her.
There was a knock on the door and it opened. There in the door way stood Fred and George.
“Hermione told us to knock...”Fred said smiling as his brother followed him into the room.
“From what she's told us, you two are an item?” George said winking at Harry, who smiled to confirm what he had said.
“Oh, isn't it lovely to have a few secrets in this house...” Ginny said, throwng George a dirty look.
“Come on Gin, we were gonna tell them anyway...” Harry said, laughing as he turned to look at her.
“Yeah, well... Oh shut up you two!” Ginny said at the twins, who stopped their laughing.
“Right, well, i'm going to change. Like i said i was going to, before someone started shouting...” She said as she stood up. She kissed Harry on the cheek and threw her brothers another dirty look before walkin through the open door and up the stairs.
Before Harry could walk a few steps, Fred and George were upon him.
“So... your dating our little sister now?” Fred said as George stood beside him, nodding very seriously.
“Err,” Harry said, not knowing what they were going to do. “Yeah... I guess so” He said finally.
This time, George spoke and Fred was the one nodding. “Well, at least it's not that Dean anymore” George said and Harry broke out in relief.
“Geez, i thouht you was gonna kill me or something!” Harry said a the twins broke out laughing.
