And so it was time for business. Lainey would have preferred a root canal. She unrolled her parchment notes and held them up after enlarging them.
"I'm just not reading this stuff out loud. Come up and have a look. Ask questions if you want." Lainey held the parchment out from her like it might.. bite.
Astrid took the stack of drawings that were handed to her. She made especially sure to hold them in such a way that would ensure she didn't wrinkling any of the pages. It was obvious that the professor really valued the girls' efforts. She then hurriedly copied down the notes on Minister Cooper. He sounded like a nice enough guy, she thought.
"Good grades, most popular and well liked boy at school." So why did everyone hate him so much now. And why did he initiate all of these awful changes here at school this year?
"Professor Lainey, I don't understand why on paper the Minister seems like the ideal leader, yet no one is happy. Are we ever going to attend "Hogwarts" again?" she asked.
"Or is this gate as close as we'll ever get?"
