yup yup! thanks!
here's more, it's kinda short though... Chapter 21
“I spy something…white.”
“My plate?”
“No.
… “Your plate?”
“Good job. Your turn.”
“I spy something…red.”
“My blanket?”
“No.”
… “That spot on the floor?”
“No.”
“My hair!”
“Finally!”
I laughed. It had been a week since Narcissa had come to join me in this prison. That means 8 days total since I was kidnapped. Narcissa and I had played every game known to man. And a couple known to Merpeople. We found that “I spy” was the easiest, but it got very dull very fast, and we were running out of things to spy.
“I spy something brown.” I told her.
“Everything in this room is brown!” she exclaimed. I smiled.
“Be more specific.” She started laughing.
“The floor, the couch, the walls…should I go on?” she asked smiling.
“No, how about we play a different game?” I asked. She nodded, looking at
me gratefully.
“I’m thinking of a number between one and two billion.” I said in all
seriousness.
“One million three hundred and ninety-eight thousand four hundred and twelve.” She replied. I had to smile.
“Got it.” Her eyes widened.
“Seriously?” she asked.
“Yup.” I replied. We stared at each other for a moment, and then burst out
laughing. I looked up at the window, to see no light coming from it. It was way past dinner, and I hadn’t eaten since last night. I was really hungry. I looked over at Narcissa. She was looking out the window also.
“Cissy?” I asked. She looked over at me.
“Yes?”
“Do you know anything about the ‘plan?” I asked. Then, thinking about what I said, I added, “that you can tell me about?”
She took a deep breath. “I can tell you what I know, but they don’t always tell me everything.” She explained.
“You don’t have to tell me if you think there will be a problem.” I assured her. She shook her head.
“No, I’ll tell you.” She took another deep breath. “Well, you probably already know, but Voldemort made seven Horcruxes.” She paused, and continued when I nodded. “Dumbledore found one, and Harry found four of the others.” I looked at her curiously.
“I don’t know what ones he found, I only know the two that are still…’alive’” she explained. I nodded.
Then, still curious, I asked, “What are they?”
“Godric Gryffindor’s sword, and Nagini.” She said in a whisper, as if expecting Voldemort to come sweeping in from the tiny window.
“Well, anyway,” she began again, “Voldemort knows that he is getting close to immortality again. He’s scared.” She told me. I took comfort that she didn’t call him ‘Dark Lord’. I think that is a very good thing. “He captured you because he thought that Harry would come running.” She continued. Her face suddenly got sullen. “When Harry comes, Voldemort is…is… he’s going to kill him.” She said in a whisper. I stared at her momentarily, then got up and walked across the room. I settled for standing in a corner, burying my head in my hands.
I wouldn’t cry, I wouldn’t cry. I can’t cry. I looked back up at Narcissa.
“Thanks.” I whispered. “Thanks for telling me.” I got back up and walked over to her. “I know it must be hard for you, a prisoner in your own house, in your basement, and I’m sorry.” I looked up at her face. There were no tears, as I thought there would be. That’s another thing Cissy and I have in common. We don’t cry easily.
“It’s okay, Ginny, really it is. I just hope we can get out soon.” She replied. I nodded.
“Are you tired?” Narcissa asked. I shook my head.
“I don’t think I’ll be able to sleep tonight.” I whispered. She nodded sadly.
“Do you want the couch?” she asked. I shook my head again.
“No thanks, that would be rude.” i whispered. She handed me a blanket.
“Well, you can use this at least.” She told me. I nodded and wrapped the blanket around me. She got onto the couch and lay down, falling asleep quickly while I hugged the blanket tightly around me, wishing I were sitting next to Harry, by the fire in our common room.
