Daphne walked in, red pigtails bouncing. When she first saw the Professor holding cookies, she could tell she would like this lady. "Thank you!" she squeaked, grabbing one of the cookies. She sat down and pulled out her quill and parchment. Normally the time before class would be spent fiddling with various objects on her desk, but this time it was devoted to eating the cookie provided. Daphne had never tasted a cookie this interesting before. It was good, but there was a twang, maybe some lemon juice? After a few more bites she didn't care, she just sat back, smiling, looking ahead ready to start the lesson.
