So now that the wedding was over, Ian was looking forward to get back to work. He was all for his employees having fun and enjoying the marriage of the Minister, but there was work to be done, questions to be asked, and mysteries to be solved. He sat in his office, politely waiting for the arrival of his employees.
He wasn't expecting them anytime soon, though, so he occupied himself with counting the spots on the ceiling.
"One....two....three.............eighty-seven.......six hundred and thirty-nine.......two thousdand five hundred and twenty-one...shoot. Lost count. One....two...." and so the counting continued. |
