In some ways the saying is true, time is the only healer." Dumont glanced back sadly in the direction Erikson had run off in. He knew that the grief was something no one could ever help him with, that the only way he could deal with what had happened was on his own. "I know you understand, Mr. Kapoor. You seem a very learned man, a very wise man. I may not be as old as some of the professors here, but these things I do know." Dumont smiled sadly. Trying to brighten things up he added, "I do have a feeling that the students will be in for a real treat this term, quite a unique experience all around."
